Your payment data is encrypted and transmitted directly to HoneyBook for processing.

2.2 Virtual Assistant Services

2.3 Job Application Consulting
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of our services without prior notice or liability.

  • Resume and cover letter review and optimization.

  • LinkedIn profile enhancement.

  • Interview preparation and coaching.

  • Career strategy and planning.

  • Salary negotiation guidance.
     

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of our services without notice or liability.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our services, you may be required to register for an account. When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form and to maintain and promptly update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
 

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access our services and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and bar access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our services or contact us to request account deletion.

4. Payment Terms

We accept payment through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By providing a credit card or other payment method accepted by us, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method and you authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge your payment method for the full amount of your purchase (including any applicable taxes and other charges).
 

4.1 Fees and Billing

The fees for our services are listed on our website or will be provided to you upon request. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, upon notice to you. If you do not agree to the fee changes, you have the right to reject the changes by discontinuing your use of our services prior to the fee change becoming effective.
 

4.2 Refunds

Our refund policy varies depending on the service provided:

  • Executive Recruiting: Refunds are available within 30 days of payment if no candidates have been presented. Once candidates have been presented, refunds are at our discretion.

  • Virtual Assistant Services: Refunds are available for unused hours within the billing period. No refunds are provided for hours already used.

  • Job Application Consulting: Refunds are available within 14 days of payment if no services have been rendered. Once services have been rendered, refunds are at our discretion.
     

4.3 Late Payments

If your payment method is declined or if you fail to pay any fees or charges when due, we may suspend or terminate your access to our services. You are responsible for all fees and charges incurred under your account, including applicable taxes, and all fees and charges incurred with respect to any payment method used.

5. Intellectual Property

Our website, services, and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by Career Innovations Co., its licensors, or other providers of such material. These are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5.1 License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use our services for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of our services or their contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of our services or their contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
 

5.2 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Modify, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our services without our express written permission.

  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services, including the servers and networks to which our services are connected.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or hack any aspect of our services or to defeat or overcome any encryption technology or security measures implemented by us.

By submitting content to us (such as resumes, cover letters, or other materials), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in connection with providing our services to you. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights in and to the content you submit and that such content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use our services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. Our services may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us.

  • Copy or adapt our services' software, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.

  • Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan horses, or other material, including excessive use of capital letters and spamming (continuous posting of repetitive text), that interferes with any party's uninterrupted use and enjoyment of our services or modifies, impairs, disrupts, alters, or interferes with the use, features, functions, operation, or maintenance of our services.

  • Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, including without limitation, clear graphics interchange formats ("gifs"), 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices (sometimes referred to as "spyware" or "passive collection mechanisms" or "pcms").

  • Except as may be the result of standard search engine or Internet browser usage, use, launch, develop, or distribute any automated system, including without limitation, any spider, robot, cheat utility, scraper, or offline reader that accesses our services, or using or launching any unauthorized script or other software.

  • Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or our services.

  • Use our services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Career Innovations Co., its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, licensors, or service providers be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, our services.
 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we assume no liability or responsibility for:
 

  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content.

  • Personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to and use of our services.

  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services.

  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party.

  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through our services.

  • The defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.
     

In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the amount paid by you to us for our services during the six (6) month period prior to bringing the claim, or $500, whichever is greater.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using our services or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

These Terms constitute the entire and exclusive agreement between us regarding our services, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the services.

10. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our services, you agree to initially attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@careerinnovations.co.

If resolution cannot be achieved informally, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in the State of Delaware, United States, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.
 

This arbitration clause shall not apply to intellectual property disputes or claims seeking injunctive or equitable relief.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, power failures, internet disruptions, governmental actions, or any other unforeseen events that render our performance impracticable or impossible.
